Shipping & Returns

Coastal Boat Wraps produces custom decals, vinyl wraps, and lettering to order. Because each item is made specifically for you, please read this policy carefully before placing your order.

Shipping

Production Time

Most custom orders are produced within 7–14 business days after artwork approval. Production does not begin until your proof is approved (where a proof is provided) and payment has cleared. Larger or more complex orders may take longer; we will let you know if your order requires additional time.

Production time is separate from shipping transit time.

Shipping Methods and Transit Times

We ship worldwide. Once your order has been produced, you can expect the following approximate transit times:

Estimates are provided by our carriers and are not guaranteed. Customs processing, weather, holidays, and carrier delays can extend delivery times.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your destination, the size and weight of your order, and the service level you select. We use carriers including USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL.

Tracking

When your order ships, we will email you a tracking number. Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking information to update with the carrier.

International Orders: Customs, Duties, and Taxes

International customers are responsible for all customs duties, import taxes, VAT/GST, and brokerage fees imposed by the destination country. These charges are not included in the product price or shipping fee at checkout, and they are collected by the carrier or local customs authority at or before delivery.

We are required by law to declare the full purchase price on customs documentation and cannot mark orders as “gift” or under-declare value.

If a package is refused, abandoned, or returned to us due to unpaid duties or customs issues, the original shipping fees are non-refundable, and any return shipping costs will be deducted from your refund.

Shipping Address Accuracy

Please double-check your shipping address before submitting your order. We are not responsible for orders shipped to addresses entered incorrectly at checkout. If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address, you are responsible for the cost of reshipping.

Lost or Damaged Shipments

If your order arrives damaged, please email us at info@coastalboatwraps.com within 7 days of delivery with photos of the damaged packaging and product. We will work with you and the carrier to resolve the issue, including replacement where appropriate.

If a tracked shipment is marked delivered but you have not received it, please first check with neighbors, household members, and your local carrier. If the package is still missing, contact us within 7 days of the marked delivery date so we can open a carrier investigation.

For uninsured international shipments, we cannot guarantee replacement of lost packages and recommend selecting an expedited or insured shipping method when available.


Returns

Custom Items Are Non-Returnable

Because our products are made to your specifications, custom items — including decals, wraps, and lettering — are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund once produced. This applies to products with custom text, registration numbers, custom dimensions, custom colors, custom artwork, or any other made-to-order specifications.

Please review your proof carefully before approving production. We produce exactly what is approved.

When Returns or Replacements Are Available

We will replace, refund, or remake an item at no cost to you if:

  • The item is defective in materials or workmanship.
  • The item was produced incorrectly on our end (e.g., the proof you approved does not match what was shipped).
  • The item was damaged in transit (see Lost or Damaged Shipments above).
  • The wrong item was shipped.

To request a replacement or refund under one of these conditions, email info@coastalboatwraps.com within 14 days of delivery with:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Clear photos showing the defect, error, or damage
  • Photos of the original packaging if the issue is shipping-related

We will respond within 2–3 business days with next steps. Do not return any item without first receiving a return authorization from us — unauthorized returns may not be processed.

Refunds

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Please allow 5–10 business days after we process the refund for it to appear on your statement, depending on your bank or card issuer.

Original shipping charges are refunded only when the issue is our error or a manufacturing defect. Customs duties and taxes paid to a foreign government are not refundable by Coastal Boat Wraps; you may be able to recover them directly from your country's customs authority.

Order Changes and Cancellations

You may request changes or cancel your order before production begins. Once production has started — typically once you've approved your proof — orders cannot be changed or cancelled because materials and labor are committed to your specific job.
